Remove ExtendedTransaction (Mac OS X) virus

If you are getting notifications from ExtendedTransaction, then your Mac is infected with adware. ExtendedTransaction is adware for Mac.

6. Go to the General tab, change the homepage from ExtendedTransaction to one of your choices.

Remove ExtendedTransaction extension from Google Chrome

1. Open Google Chrome
2. In the top right corner open the Google menu.
3. Click on More Tools, then Extensions.
4. Remove the ExtendedTransaction extension. Basically, remove all extensions you do not know.
5. In the top right corner open the Google menu once again.
6. Click on Settings from the menu.
7. In the left menu click on Search Engines.
8. Change the Search engine to Google.
9. In the On Startup section click on Open the new tab page.
