  1. Open Firefox
  2. Type about:addons in the Firefox address bar and press ENTER on your keyboard.
  3. Find any recently installed browser add-on and click the three dots on the right of the browser add-on.
    Select Remove from the menu to remove the add-on from the Firefox browser.

  • Wait for the Malwarebytes scan to finish.
  • Once completed, review the Win32:Adware-gen detection.
  • Click Quarantine to continue.

    • Reboot Windows after all the detections are moved to quarantine.

You have now successfully removed Win32:Adware-gen from your device.
