The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, featuring the remasters of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, is coming to PS5 and PC in 2022.
The Legacy of Thieves Collection will be released on PS5 on January 28, 2022. The PC version will come at a later date. The exact date has not yet been announced.
The revamped games will receive graphical updates, including three visual modes to choose from. With Fidelity Mode you can play the games in 4K at 30fps and with Performance Mode at 60fps. Performance+ Mode lifts the games to 120fps, but brings the quality down to 1080p. The PS5 version also enjoys improved load times, DualSense controller support and 3D audio.
The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will cost $49.99 on PS5. Owners of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy can purchase an upgrade to the digital version of Legacy of Thieves for just $10. However, if you have claimed one of these games through PS Plus, this offer will not count.
The specifications and release date of the Legacy of Thieves Collection for PC will come later in 2022 according to Sony. This will be the PC debut of the Uncharted series.
Analysis: a real classic, but even better
We can’t wait to play the Legacy of Thieves Collection. Nathan Drake’s last adventure took place before the release of the PS5, so we haven’t seen him on the best hardware yet.
Since Uncharted 4 is considered one of the best PS4 games, we expect that the updated version could also be a hit on the PS5 due to the better resolution and performance.
2022 is the perfect time to release this collection as the Uncharted movie hits theaters February 18. This collection will allow you to get acquainted with Nathan Drake before then.
