Google is delaying the phasing out of third-party tracking cookies in Chrome by six months. The APIs that do that will not become the norm in Chrome until the second half of 2024 at the earliest. Google and advertisers need more time to flesh out the initiative.

Microsoft is considering a new strategy for Windows versions
Windows is and remains the most widely used operating system for PCs and laptops. You can argue about whether it is the best system, but as a notorious Mac user, I don’t dare to do that. If we are to believe the messages from Windows Central, which is usually well implemented, then Microsoft is working on a new old release strategy for the next Windows versions. The software giant would like to go back to three-year version updates. That could, if correct, mean that Windows 12 will appear in 2024.
Indian providers block VLC website for unknown reason
Indian providers have been blocking VLC Media Player’s site since February for unknown reasons. The Indian government does not want to respond to the question of why the providers are blocking the Videolan.org site.
Microsoft stops brand name Office and integrates all software in Microsoft 365
The Office brand name will largely disappear in the coming months. Microsoft will rename the office suite and integrate it into Microsoft 365. The individual app names, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, will remain.
GTA VI videos leak, hacker may put test build and source code online
An alleged hacker has posted 90 videos of GTA VI gameplay footage on GTAForums. It turns out to be real images. The uploader says he may leak more data, including a testing build of GTA VI and source code and assets from GTA V and VI.
Apple appears to be tackling iOS beta profile websites
Apple seems to want to take legal action on iOS beta profile websites. Two of the best-known sites for getting the required beta profile for new iOS betas are offline. Apple also allegedly sent Twitter requests to remove tweets linking to one of the sites.
