Uninstall Power Search (Srchpowerwindow.info) browser hijacker

Power Search is a browser extension that changes your web browser settings to Srchpowerwindow.info. The Power Search adware also reads your browser history and sells this data to rogue advertisers.

Power Search is distributed via unwanted pop-ups that advertise to install the Power Search extension in your browser. If you accept these pop-ups and install the browser extension, your browser will be infected with the Power Search adware.

Uninstall Power Search extension from Google Chrome

3. Find the “Power Search” browser extension and click Remove.

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click the menu (wrench icon) in the top right.
3. Open Manage Addons from the menu.
4. Remove Power Search from Extensions and Toolbars.
5. On the left open Search Providers settings.
6. Find Power Search Search and Remove Power Search Search.

Do you still have Power Search in Internet Explorer?

1. Open Windows Control Panel.
2. Go to Uninstall a program.
3. Click “installed on” column to sort the recently installed applications by date.
4. Select Power Search and click Uninstall.
5. Follow Power Search uninstall instructions.
