Uninstall LinkDefault extension from Google Chrome

1. Open Google Chrome
2. Type chrome://extensions/ in the Google Chrome address bar and press ENTER on your keyboard.
3. Find the “LinkDefault” browser extension and click Remove. Is the extension managed? Remove with Malwarebytes, see below.

Uninstall LinkDefault extension from Firefox

1. Open Firefox
2. Type about:addons in the Firefox address bar and press ENTER on your keyboard.
3. Find the “LinkDefault” browser extension and click the three dots on the right of the LinkDefault extension.
   Select Remove from the menu to remove LinkDefault from the Firefox browser.

Uninstall LinkDefault add-on from Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click the menu (wrench icon) in the top right.
3. Open Manage Addons from the menu.
4. Remove LinkDefault from Extensions and Toolbars.
5. On the left open Search Providers settings.
6. Find LinkDefault Search and Remove LinkDefault Search.

Do you still have LinkDefault in Internet Explorer?

1. Open Windows Control Panel.
2. Go to Uninstall a program.
3. Click “installed on” column to sort the recently installed applications by date.
4. Select LinkDefault and click Uninstall.
5. Follow LinkDefault uninstall instructions.
